Department development goals

 Since its establishment in 1969, the Department of Electronic Engineering of Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology has always adhered to the mission of creating first-class technical talents in the electronics industry for the country and the society. So far, the Department of Electronic Engineering has played an indispensable role in technological development and economic prosperity in all corners of society and at all levels in Taiwan.

 In 2000, the Department of Electronic Engineering of Oriental Institute of Technology was formally established. The Department of Electronic Engineering has a total of 12 classes in day school, four technical classes, and the total number of students was about 514 (statistics for the 108 academic year). The features of the department focuses on information modules and biomedical electronic application modules, and cultivate students' forward-looking technical capabilities and competitiveness required in professional fields such as smart electronic design, embedded systems and biomedical electronic applications, and integrate cross-field integration. The goal is to cultivate outstanding talents with both professional knowledge and skills and humanistic quality in line with the educational concepts of practicality, informationization, human culture, innovation and internationalization.

 Training Goals of the Department of Electronic Engineering :  

    • Cultivating students with practical abilities of electronic engineering

    • Cultivating students with forward-looking technical abilities of intelligent electronic system design

    • Cultivating students with the abilities to integrate biomedical electronic health care across fields

    • Cultivating students with the ability to develop future innovation fields

    • Cultivating students' talents with communication, cooperation and professional ethics
